In the movie, Angels and Demons, we see the contrast of heaven and hell, the church and the illuminati, and the existence of good and evil. We see in detail how the church could possibly be corrupted, which would me in turn that everyone is corrupted but yet unaware. In this picture alone, we can see how well and evil can stand side by side forever, and not even realize it.
In the movie, we see the plot unfold to a point where the church is falling over itself. The illuminati come from, literally, underneath the church. The catholic religion has literally been ruined by what they believed to be clergy members, their own kind. Their whole debate through the movie was a state of authority, which is really right. The illuminati believe in evolution, and obviously the other side of the argument has been made.
This picture that i have found is a prime example of what the movie was showing us. The contrast of the pure and the deceptive is shown so clear in this half-half statue of a demon and an angel. The thought that the illuminati have been infused with the church is mind boggling. To believe that the base of our world could possibly be corrupted upon itself is sickening. By looking behind the statue we see St. Peters in the Vatican City in complete darkness, almost as though no hope is left for the Vatican and the buildings have been put to ruin with satanic evils. Yet we see a break of light, only enough to lighten the half of the statue which is the angel. This almost portrays a sense of hope through this empty square...
